Learn about Billings
This “Magic City” seemed to pop out of nowhere as if by magic, beginning as a railway city in the 1800s and quickly growing to become the largest city in Montana today. With mountain ranges looming all around, this Western city enjoys close proximity to the wilderness - guests coming into town will enjoy the rare opportunity to drive out and visit the famous Yellowstone Park (it may be a four hour drive, but considering Montana’s enormous size and widely dispersed cities, Billings natives will consider this a reasonably convenient trip!). The surrounding bluffs make for a dramatic backdrop for a rustic outdoor wedding, while the downtown area offers a solid selection of modern buildings offering indoor reception space. Billings couples might include a beer tasting during their wedding prep: this city is home to the greatest amount of microbreweries in the state, and including a few craft brews for guests to try would be a great way to personalize a Billings wedding.
